Each author is right. Really, if Sapkovsky had not written books, there would be no games. And praise to the gods that he did not take part in the development. I have a collection edition of the Polish series about the Witcher on DVD and it contains exclusive shots from filming. Sapkovsky took part in the filming of the series and naturally Zae ** l the entire film crew. Literally in every scene, he burst into the frame and rubbed the actors that they say they did not understand and do not feel their heroes and do everything wrong.

There are so many comments about Sapkovsky, and not a single one – Glukhovsky, funny) But I just want to say that Glukhovsky cannot otherwise treat the games on his books, because without these games his book is not only in the world – even in Europe they would not be lit up (and by the way, they generally lit up? Well, at least, the games know exactly there), because in terms of the plot they are quite medium. He even somehow admitted that the first books were more a review of his post-apocalyptic universe in order to show each fraction of the metro, and not about the plot. If he had everything as epic there, be the same bright heroes as Pan Andrzei, bring him as much money and fame, Glukhovsky, perhaps in his interviews he would also insist that the main thing is the literary source.

I do not consider it strange that he borrowed the idea, because it is only a refinement of his own.

But I think Ruslan meant the moment when Geralt appears far in the future after his death, I would not call it a cooling room for the game, it is very in the style of Sapkovsky, such disabilities, he did not say obviously that herald survived, as he did not say the opposite … In general.

Interesting, but in the last book about the outstanding witcher, there are a lot of references to game details, which were not mentioned in the books. Of course, this only plays in the hands of the work, but it is quite strange that with such an attitude, Pan Sapkosky decided to use them.

Don’t know. Maybe he was not invited then, or maybe he really wanted. The collection publication came to me from Poland. The whole series was with Russian subtitles, quite high quality by the way, but here. The materials were strictly in Polish.
